A tablespoon, a kitchen sponge, a deep pan (capacity 3 liters), oven, heat-resistant or non-stick baking dish, bowl, colander, aluminum foil, kitchen gloves, cutting board, portion plate.

Cooking whole baked potatoes in the oven:

Step 1: prepare the potatoes.


First, select the right amount of medium-sized young potatoes and wash them with a soft kitchen sponge. We do this carefully, trying not to tear off the delicate skin, because we will not remove it.

Step 2: boil the potatoes.


Then we send the tubers into a deep pot, pour purified water 5-6 cm higher and put on a strong fire. After boiling, cook the potatoes about 7-8 minutes, then we discard it in a colander and leave it in the sink for a short while, so that the excess liquid flows into the glass. At the same time, turn on the oven to preheat in 200 degrees celsius and move on.

Step 3: prepare the potatoes, baked whole in the oven - stage one.


We cut a small piece from aluminum foil with kitchen scissors and cover it with the bottom of a non-stick or heat-resistant baking dish. We spread the potatoes in one layer, sprinkle it to taste with salt, black pepper, pour a tablespoon of olive oil and, without covering, put in a preheated oven on 30 minutes.

Step 4: prepare a spicy mixture.


We don’t lose a minute, we peel the cloves of garlic from the husk without removing the upper dense shell, and send them to a small clean dish. There we put broken into 2-3 parts sprigs of fresh or dried rosemary, to taste basil, a leaf of laurel, and also pour in 2 tablespoons of vinegar and olive oil. Mix everything to a uniform consistency and wait for half an hour to pass.

Step 5: prepare the potatoes, baked whole in the oven - stage two.


After 30 minutes, very carefully pull the potatoes out of the oven and gently press down on each mashed potato pusher, so that it only stretches a little. Then we water the vegetable with the previously prepared spicy mixture and leave the dish in a closed oven at the same temperature for another 20-25 minutes.
After that, we pull the kitchen gloves in our hands, move the dish with the aromatic yummy to the cutting board, previously laid on the countertop, and let the root crops cool slightly. Then, with the help of a spoon, we spread the potatoes in portions on plates, pour the oil that has accumulated at the bottom of the mold and go for a tasting!

Step 6: serve whole baked potatoes in the oven.


Whole baked potatoes in the oven are served hot as a completely independent vegetarian dish or as an excellent side dish for meat, poultry, fish or game. Serve it in portions on plates, optionally trimming each with fresh small chopped greens of dill, parsley, cilantro, basil or green onions, but lettuce or sauces based on tomatoes, mayonnaise, and cream can refresh this miracle. - an alternative to olive oil - melted butter to a liquid state;

- the set of spices indicated in the recipe is not fundamental, at will it can be varied, based on your own taste preferences, complemented by any dried herbs, as well as spices that are suitable for potato dishes;

- lovers of a strong garlic aroma can completely peel the cloves of this vegetable from the peel and mix together with other spices, as well as herbs, squeezed out through a press or finely chopped;

- if desired, the potatoes can be pre-cooked and baked raw, but in this case the cooking time will increase by about 10-15 minutes.
